Have you stumbled upon this page by chance and haven't the slightest clue on what it's about? Well, it's centered around the Japanese girl group, °C-ute. °C-ute is a group under the Hello! Project umbrella, which is a collection of all-female music groups and soloists under contract with Up-Front Group. °C-ute is one of the newer groups, having been created in 2006, and is part of Hello! Project Kids along with the group Berryz Koubou, although all of the Kids are now teenagers. °C-ute currently consists of five girls:
Maimi Yajima (Leader, 18 years old)
Saki Nakajima (Sub-Leader, 16 years old)
Airi Suzuki (16 years old)
Chisato Okai (16 years old)
Mai Hagiwara (14 years old)
Former members include Megumi Murakami, who left in 2006 to focus on her studies. She is currently 18.
Kanna Arihara, who left in 2009 due to a bunion on her foot that prevented her from dancing. She announced July 2009 that she no longer wanted to be part of the idol world and returned to the life of a normal girl. However, in June 2010 it was announced she was a talent signed to BLUE ROSE. She is currently 16.
Erika Umeda, who also left in 2009 to become a model. It was announced in 2010 that she is a model under ILLUME Models, a new model agency. She is currently 19.
